Because when the first mufassir composed the first part of Tafsir Jalalain, the second mufassir had just started his journey to seek knowledge.The initial author of Tafsir Jalalain was Jalaluddin Al-Mahalli, a character born in Cairo, Egypt, in 791H/1389 AD, whose real name was Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Ahmad bin Hasyim Al-Mahalli Al-Mishri Asy-Syafii.
Uniquely, for some reason, this great scholar who is also famous for his expertise in the fields of fiqh, kalam, nahwu and manthiq and his great works, started writing his commentary from Surah Al-Kahf which is located in the middle of the fifteenth juz and then continues backwards to sura lastly, An-Nas.After interpreting Surah An-Nas, Al-Mahalli then returned to the front page of the Al-Quran, interpreting surah Al-Fatihah.
Previously, after completing the interpretation of the first surah in the Al-Quran, he would continue with Al-Baqarah, Ali Imran and so on until the end of Al-Isra.
